This is my second pair in Alpine. This model is the entry level and the price is more than reasonable. I use it for concerts and to play the drums (alternating with a closed helmet, more effective but more heavy and warm ears). The problem with these caps is always the same: they limit too much the high frequencies. Damage. I have not yet had the time and opportunities needed to do a review definitive on this subject, but my 1st impressions are good. The product seems to be durable, well built and is quite comfortable to wear. The noise reduction is sufficient, and the cutting effect of the sound frequencies so 'intelligent' retaining the ability to have a conversation without having to remove the caps to the ears. A storage box is provided but should be a little less large to fit unobtrusively in a pocket. User of this type of product since 5 Years and every night (about 1600 times), I've tried everything and this is the best, it is the only one who respects my ear as he does the mouth not but mitigates the noise by 80%. In comparison the plug of ear wax is better but after a week I started to have problems with my ears, with alpine I haven't had in 5 years.. With these plugs Alpine, I found that the sound was clean.
